Yenesey Ramirez - Rio Research Roundup Assistant Coordinator of U.S. and Mexico Schools
Yenesey lives in El Cenizo, a small city that sits south of Laredo. Her family is from Lerdo, Durango, Mexico. She is the oldest sibling and first-generation college graduate. She graduated from Texas A&M International University in 2016 with a degree in Biology and minor in Criminal Justice. She likes to read, write poetry, and play the saxophone.
Just like any other nature enthusiast, she loves spending time in the great outdoors. She enjoys being with her family and participating in community events. She believes in equal rights for everyone, everywhere, and the idea that it is our responsibility to care for this planet.
Her prior work experience includes being a student research assistant and stagehand. She looks forward to making a positive impact at RGISC and hopes to learn things that will help her continue to be an advocate for issues concerning the planet.
